Solar panels
Making a decision on drilling our own wells, we get qualitative water, for which it is not necessary to pay. Why not to think the same thing about electricity?
The solar module (photovoltaic panels, solar battery) - photoelectric converter that is able to convert solar electromagnetic radiation into electricity.
The principle of operation of the standby system based on solar batteries
Solar cells produce direct current, the controller charges the batteries and the inverter converts the DC power in the battery (12 to 240V DC) to AC (220 / 380V 50Hz), suitable for the supply of household appliances. The main elements of the energy supply system based on solar panels below:Industrial solar batteries 220-250W
The most common photovoltaic panels - are industrial mono and polycrystalline modules rated power 230-260 watts. They are used for small autonomous systems of private homes as well as for huge industrial solar power stations.
There are batteries of four manufacturers in stock now:
Solar panels LDK Solar, rated power 250 W
Solar panels SCHOTT Solar, rated power 225 W
Solar panels Sunrise Solartech, rated power 235 W
Solar panels ET Solar, rated power 250 W
On the links, you can go to the pages of each model, which shows the basic specifications, sizes and prices of solar panels.
The principle of work of the system on the basis of solar energy (photovoltaic) panels is about the same as that of a wind turbine. So if you already have a wind turbine, you can buy without any problems several panels with the controller, which will complement the existing system. This is especially important with increasing power consumption - when there are new appliances that were not taken into account when choosing a wind turbine.
Network power supply system (without battery)
The cost of batteries has a significant impact on the overall cost of the system. We are often asked whether it is possible to take them less or deliver cheaper. We say more – you can do without batteries. It is possible for the system with the network inverter. With this system you can:
1. To provide with power your house or enterprise, complementing the existing network;
2. To sell electricity produced by your solar panels on the "green tariff".
Choosing this option, it is important to understand that electricity worked out with solar panels only "support" an existing network. This is not an option if you want backup power supply or if you have no electricity connected. Destination system without batteries - a saving of electric power consumed from the network and, accordingly, reduction of electricity bills. It is important to understand that such a system does not protect against outages - if there is no centralized power supply, powered by solar cells does not occur. There are also more expensive hybrid systems that operate in a network, and offline.
